It is well known the great qualities and nutritional values inside the fruit and fish along with vegetables, are necessary nutrients that must become common in the menu of our baby. But now, it has also known the results of a study by the School of Public Health Harvard University, that the consumption of fruit and fish helps combat the symptoms of childhood asthma.

This study, published in the American magazine “Health Day News,” stresses that vitamin C in fruit and omega 3s from fish, help considerably to alleviate and reduce unpleasant respiratory distress experienced by children with this problem health.

The author of this study, Jane Burns, has determined that, after having been studied a good number of children and their dietary habits found that those who eat a minimum amount of vitamin C and Omega 3 fatty acids, tend to have a better lung function. Noting also that a low intake of vitamin E is associated directly with an increase in asthma in those who already have it.

But the low consumption of Omega 3 fatty acids, containing the fish, was associated with an increase of developing chronic bronchitis, wheezing and asthma. In fact, those that fall below the minimum daily intake of this nutrient, are 70 percent more likely to have asthma.

So come to the conclusion that this study is the importance of caring for our food, especially in children. A healthy diet helps the airways directly. Although it is not advisable to use multivitamins, this doctor advised us to advise us by our pediatrician that will help us to develop a balanced and healthy diet for our youngster.
